We’re returned to the Gilded Age. It’s sad that this cartoon is as applicable today as it was when it was published over 100 years ago!
Published in 1909, and over 100 years later, we’re still fighting the same battle. Take the word “Guilt” out of there and put in “Occupy”, and bang, we’re in 2012.
Only posting this cause my GF is from Virginia. She thought it was funny. Hope it doesn’t offend anyone. This image comes from an envelope during the Civil War.
